When a champion is declared, the platform automatically generates payout records. The commissioner (league creator) is responsible for disbursing funds to the winners. Here's the process:
Season ends and final standings lock in, auto-generating payout records for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
When the champion is declared, payout records are auto-generated for each winning placement based on the commissioner's payout structure.
Winners with a PayPal email on file receive their share directly. The platform fee is retained automatically.
Winners without a PayPal email receive their share through the commissioner for manual distribution.
The commissioner can also set up a PayPal auto-payout email on their league dashboard. When configured, the platform can send payouts directly to the commissioner's PayPal account without manual withdrawal requests.
